hey,

i have the chance to get one of these a/d/s amps..but was wondering which you would get if you had the choice between the a/d/s and the xtants?

they both put out similar rated power(4x100 a/d/s and 4x75xtant)..it will be running dyn240gt + a/d/s 312 sub or idq12..

i listen mostly to r&b/hiphop if that makes a difference..

thanks! any comments appreciated!

ps. the a/d/s sub is DVC 4ohms only..so bridged will be running a 2ohm load...would the a/d/s handle this okay? it is only rated to 4ohms bridged...wats the worst that can happen to my amp if running this impedance?

What’s the worst that can happen? Your amp goes “poof”, and you’ve wasted your money!

well i would expect an amp as expensive as those to have impdence and thermal protection so maybe no poof, just nothing??

IMO if you want to buy the a/d/s sub, you should buy the xtant X603 amp, simply because it's sub channel is 2 ohm stable. Also, personally I like the look of the xtant x603, they look very very sexy Cheers
