hello...
anyout out there scoped a MRV-1507 pumping mono at 2 ohms, 12v before? how much RMS does it kick out? hmmm,......
yeah, is the MRV-1507 2 ohm mono stable? any mates out there care to share experiences?
cheers!

From what I've heard the power supply backs the rails off so that it won't actually produce any more power
As for stability also I don't know - maybe wack some big mofo fans on it as the 1507 certainly likes to get warm...
and don't try 1ohm mono - ertainly goes unhappy with many crispy parts!

Yeah, power wise wouldn't be too different.
However, every 1507 I've come across has had no problems with 2ohm mono bridged. For SPL burps or daily music (but don't blame me if it goes up in smoke ).
I'd happily hook mine up to 2ohm to demo to anyone who is skeptical...

would a T757 handle 2ohm mono or is it much the same as the 1507?

Hooligan i have run 2 mrvt707's @ 2ohm mono before and the amplifiers held up well , so i would say that the 757 should be able to handle it even if only for burps, being fan cooled etc.

Spl/Luxy no worries but they wouldnt make anymore power than 4 ohm bridged yeh?

Well i dont know about the 757, but my 707's had a slight increase in power, read the following setups
2 svc 10's runnin at 2 ohm 1 amp 134.5 db
2 dvc 10's runnin at 2 ohm 2 amps 140.8 db
Both setup's were run on the same meter (Audiocontrol). So i guess there was a slight increase in power. So long ago i cant remember all the details. But both amps are still going strong and are used in my ute everyday!Currently running 2 12's.I do remember on the second setup that my current draw was so heavy my interior light would shut off and that was with a huuuge battery installed.

i run both of mine 2 ohm mono (1507) all day no probs including comps.
believe it or not they got hotter when it was 4 ohm mono !!
i have heard it is not as much power increase for 2 ohm over 4 ohm.
Hope that helps
