Hi
Are there any good workshops you guys recommend in sydney for an installation?
to build a false floor and sub box, install a deck, speakers, dsp, and 2 (maybe 3) amps.
Warm Regards

Just a question, when we're you looking at doing this as we're always booked out weeks in advance?
P.S. Thanks for that Rattlehead.

Is the lifestyle store workshop any good?
currently examining my options
but they quoted me $2000.
which will bring my system up to $8000.
i've already spent 4s, thinking about 2 gs for speakers...dunno how much the install is going to cost though.
trying to source another cap (i think the one my mate gave me is dead).
and a battery.

On my visits to Lifestyles workshop I have seen some very impressive custom work being carried out. I would also have no hesitation recommending Auto Acoustics at Alexandria, they have been at it longer than most and seem to still give a $hit.

Hi
i know what you mean, if you are going to pay someone to butcher up your car. you may as well butcher it yourself..
=)
there are some good installs out there that actually care....just hard to find one.

i have only found one workshop that cares about your car as much as you do, wont take short cuts behind your back, will do work to your taste and preference, and is competitively priced:
DIY Car Audio Pty Ltd
at some point if you love the hobby, i guarantee this is the shop you will end up at

Thats so True, i installed my whole system, but thought i might get the Pros to put in the splits and make a custom enclosure on the doors, i thought their Pros, so they wont butcher the door as bad as i could, but unfortunately i was wrong. When i came there they said its finished and i turned on the system and the left speaker wasnt working , he said sorry we forgot to wire it up. So i had to wait another 20mins for them to wire it up. Then i jump in the car and start to drive out and realise the speedo light isnt on:mad:, i said whats going on and they said bring the car back tomoro, i said dont worry il fix it. All i can say is Sound Master Merrylands is dodgy as they come.
NOTE TO SELF: DIY Car Audio Pty Ltd, IS THE WAY TO GO.
Oh Sorry back to Topic: DoranProaudio and fhrx are the best in Sydney.

I can't recomend Marty Price and FHRX studious highly enough. The man takes so much pride in his work, and he won't butcher car, hell I'll gaurantee it.
