I heard that these retail for $2Gs is this right?

With the ever increasing dollar I'm thinking about purchasing a set from the US. I've read all the pros and cons with doing this but a guy on ebay is selling them at $700US a pair new with another $100US for shipping. If you could get the guy to mark them as gifts (ie no tax when they get here) you are looking at $800US which is at the moment $1,043.79 AUD. Now thats nearly half price for a great seat of speakers.

What do you guys think?

they are a truely amazing speaker Go in and see Darren at Technik's, he has a non working sample for people to look at etc etc, go in there and buy a pair, dont be a stooge and get from the u.s, you'll regret it later when you have a warranty claim
