My red overload LED is permanently lit on my PG 600.2Ti amp. I have even tried disconnecting all the speakers from the amp and it still says it's overloaded! The air comming out of the fan outlets is cool and there is no smell.....The amp seems to be working fine, no loss of power or sound quality.

Anyone had this problem before? i recently blew my PG tantrum component woofer with this amp and have only just noticed this red LED today.

it's possible there's a fault with the amp.

but check the powerwiring to the amp. if you have a multimeter, check the voltage it's receiving. some amps go into protection mode if the power supply is insufficient, as could be the case if the ground is poor and low voltage exists.

Voltage is fine 13.5 -> 14.4V with a brand new battery. As i have a blown woofer on the right hand side i've used a stock woofer to take its place on the right hand side (i know this probably isnt the best but it shouldnt have an effect on the amp should it?....could the amp crack up if it sees a different speaker (same ohms) on one channel?) running off the x-over. Is it possible that i may have damaged an X-over when i blew the old PG woofer and that is causing it?

hmmm. there could be a short somewhere.

when you disconnected the speakers, did you mean disconnecting things at the amp? if the amp remains in protection mode with no speakerwires hooked up, then i suspect the amp is at fault internally.
