I doing my self a boot install and I have had many people tell me contradicting things.
I need to know the ADVANTAGES/DISADVANTAGE or possibilities of having a box for 2 * 12" Crossfire BMF's in a box with Seperate chambers and also ONE BIG common chamber?
Please help
I am after a system with good mix of SPL and SQ.

Well from abit of playing i've done, i won't be bothering with single chamber again.
seperate chamber per sub, much more precise for tuning, and driving.
As a shared chamber obviously opens you up to varying factors. Duplicating power to both subs, calculating air capacity, due to both woofers affecting air pressure of the enclusure during use.
But if your install dictates that you can't chamber the subs seperately, then you'll have to do, what you have to do... And share them...

I think I like the idea of having seperate chambers. My install can have a wall in it. just that the guy who is doing it is trying his best to recommend doing it in ONE chamber.
I have been told by several people to definately put them in seperate chambers, one of those people being Tony Doran from Doran Pro Audio and I think I will take in his advice as he seems as though he knows **** about car audio.
Thanks for all your comments guys.

if you're running both subs of the same channel then it wouldn't make much of difference, but stereo would be a different matter because if one subs fails then the other will immediately see more volume and become severly unloaded. maybe it's safer for seperate chambers over a common chamber if you're planning on giving the drivers a gut full!
