The last time i tested it, it did around 120.2 dB. My friend and i have now created a hertz CD with numerous frequencies (20 - 130). My question is does anyone know a good frequency to use in competions or does it vary from car to car. We put a track on that goes from 20 to 80 hertz in 30 seconds so would that be a better track to play.

it will vary from car to car... but running 30 sec sweep will not be a good idea, the battery will die before the end...
i would run some 2 sec tones. run one at 40hz, then 45hz, 50hz, 55hz, 60hz. find which ones are loudest, then go inbetween on the second run.
for example, if 50 and 55 was loudest, try 52, 53, 54 etc until you find the loudest tone...

Every car varies as too what frequency will work best in your specific car. The way to find out which tone to play is to get a SPL meter thingy and have a testing day. Play tones in increments of 10 hertz between 40 and 100 Hz then narrow it down from there as to which tone works best in your car.
As for your sine sweep (your tone from 20-18 Hz) that wont really work to well. As since it just is a continues sound and not staying on the one note for too long it might hit the note of your cars resonant frequncy but it wont stay on it allowing your car to vibrate to get the big score basically.
So find your cars resonant frequency and go from there. Other guys here will be able to give you more information about it all if you want it.

or you could come to the test and tune night in a couple of weeks. pay a couple of dollars or something and test every frequency to see where your car peaks at. Then when you go in a comp you only have to play that tone and not waste time and voltage on other tones.
