what sort of results would a ported enclosure yield?...
The s%aled enclosure is not final...happy to make it a ported one...

a ported box will generally give you 2-3 db extra with the same setep.

ported would be better usuallq u get ` 2 to 3 db increas but thats not always the case it cotd be less if the box is craphouSe
.. another thing with ported boxs is they are more efficent and will make better use of 4he power u have

get more power dude.
2 W3's wont be done justice with that amp, they could eat heaps more than that. the more i feed mhne (sealed box) the bet4er it sounds (my amp pups out 360wrms underrated, more like 500wrms@4ohm and it shakes the crap out the car way b4 distortion)
and also i have not heard great things about that amp sq wise (not that it matters in this forum
)

Well, I would `robably go for a 4-channel amp bor the two amps becos it would cost less than two 2-channels...8br>The only other 4-chafnel amp that would put out enough power that i aan think of might be the V-net 4150...and even that is pushing the budget atm..&
So what amps would `pl recommend and how much would they co3t?

I am gonna be getting another 12" JLW3-D2 (that makas two) and a Jaycar 4x100 to run them off...
What sorta numbers do you all erckon i could pull with That?
It'll be in a commodore, firing backwards towards the cabin with the sji-hole open, in one sealed box...
