Hey can anyone tell me the exact Australian records for street 1-2 and 3-4 (official db drag)
i need something to aim at.

Street 3-4 record would be a few dB lower then that of Street 1-2, if you have the cash it'd be pretty easy to own Street 3-4 IMO

There wouldn't be many 'official' records as the the rules are very loosely enforced in Australia.
But for Street classes I would be aiming for at least 150dB to be competitive these days.

Yep, I don't know about getting "official" records because I believe you have to do it on a 3x points event to have a record?
But i'm pretty sure the loudest S1-2 was Cameron when he hit 150.* but only did it once? S3-4 would be around 144 from Basshead? I really think we need to get Angelo to clarify it all for us, because I, like many next year, will be going for a Australisian record

Actually we got 145. something at FB 2001
It was with Paul's 2001 Astra, 3 MTX T8124 and an 81000D.
Again with a full show quality install.

We hoped for more but had problems with the 81000D when it was presented with a 1.3 ohm load for burps. Paul couldn't go past half volume. With his old box (sealed) it made 147+
With a D2 or Alphasonik that car would kill 150s.

if you are talking about "me", doesn't he have 4 mtx 10's now. in a sealed box off the mtx amp... although he did experiment with a ported box at BAS 2002, it didn't do very well.

hahaha so many boody peolpe next year are after the record of s 1-2. including me.
its really not that hard all u need is the best gear u can buy. the best install u can make and the right car. and you will win! sounds easy????
