actually a 12L7 has the equivalent cone area to a 13-13.5" sub

It's big and square, but it ain't a solobaric!
Might be the start of a new kicker square line?...

That is one big mother of a sub..
If i had one (or 2) of them, i'd definately have the basket out..
Whats the max excursion on that thing??

That thing is huge! I wonder whats the go with the odd looking top plate?
2 x 12" L7's will be enough for me

Looks pretty tough! Let's hope they've improved the sensitivity.
Yes cone is missing, it's obviously a pre-production prototype. (note many magnets to left of picture), did pic come from a Kicker employee??
Phil

Yep .. definitely a pre production pic of the frame.
Sorry not to mention the source of the photos which is from Polecat (A kicker Tech) from the Termpro boards.
The sub enables the user to recone it if it blows. So far... I havent found any specs. other than the 10,000W Power handling.
they must be able to play music as that car that they are in in the pic i posted above is a SQ car of gary Briggs IIRC (i have been proven wrong b4 )

I'd also hate to see the odds of custom car soud actally bringing them in!!!
Looks like its going to be an import it yourself job people... just like all the other decent car audio gear!!
