How do you guys read this;

3-8c Seats may be folded for competition, but may not be removed from the vehicle unless they were originally designed as a consumer removable component. Competitors who fold their seats must be able to demonstrate that the installation of the sound system does not interfere with the normal operation of the seats that were folded.

Ok the car Im looking at is available with and without rear seats. The ones without rear seats are rarer and harder to get hold of. If i remove the rear seats from a car with rear seats does this disqualify me from street class, even tho the cabins of both cars will be the same?

What type of car is it?

I would have to say that if you are modifying your car by removing the seats even though another model was available without the seats would put you into super street. I know it's only something pretty minor but they are getting stricter on the rules now.

It's another Mira, I think i'll most like have to find one without rear seats.

It's quite simple, if the that VERY car came with seats then they have to stay in. If it didn't then it's all good. If the seats were designed to be removable without a tool, then you can take them out aswell...

You'll have to find one that originally came without rear seats...

Thanks Bodyjar
