The other day i caught up with one of my old mates and he was showing me his stezza which consisted of a Pioneeer (dunno model) H/U a set of Kenwood 6X9's up the back dash and a 12" Rockford Fosgate Punch sub in a small ported box powered by a 4ch 800Watt Kenwood amp.
So we had a Mini sound off see whos could hit harder.
And to my surpize my Bass drowned his whole stezza out I only have a dodgy sound4 H/u rigged at the moment coz my Pioneer recently **** it self and the sound4 was in my cupboard)
and a 15" kicker F15C sub in a 3.8 Cuft Box ported to 28Hz running from a 2 X 150w Power Acoustik amp.
He reckons he was expecting huge Mother amp and when he seen my amp he was shocked LOL
How come is my setup louder
My stezzas in my GH sigma sedan
his is in a VH SL/E Commy
Both facing the rear of the cars.

We both tried the same song
36mafia (*****es and ass) Hell bassy song
Then we ran a Tone track with 28Hz, 32Hz, and 44Hz Tones
Both times mine was louder
By the way he had 2channels bridged for the sub(400w) and 1channel for each 6x9 (200w each)
but his music went louder than mine just the bass i drowned him out on?

The bass outside the car is all the bass below 30hz mainly. As lower frequencies are far more difractional.
And what would be better at putting out notes below 30hz? a 15inch in a big ported box tuned low or a 12 in a small ported box?
Thats why
