Gentlemen,

how does one calculate slot port dimensions, i.e. if you know the dimensions for a port that is 106mm ID and is x long, how do you convert this to slot port dimensions...?

you need to know the xsectional area or the port in square what ever cm's worrks best IMO and then you figure out a square opening with the same area and just make it the same length at a round port as long as the area is the same

also remember end correction factor as that can be forgotton by certain team members when working out the port
