Depends if the 80amp alt is stock on that type of engine..
I think it comes down to what alt comes out stock on that engine.. not on that car!
i could be wrong tho!
There is no ruling on this on term pro! Mayb Email Wayne Harris

well since engines r not running in street class i would say no problems still in street.

is this correct?
i havent heard this before? this wasnt implied at FB in street. although thats wasnt an offical db drag right?
i had the impression u were allowed the engine on but were not allowed to exced 2k revs?

and do answer your question. yes if thats the stock alternator of the engine its in street. thats what i was told a while back when asking the same question.

Its a new rule as of 2003.. Since the engine will not be running during the 30 second period (in street class) alternator mods are acceptable.

To answer RB26DETT's question, under dBdrag rules you will be in Street A, possibly mini street depending on the comp. (mini street rules are up to the people holding the comp)

ok that should be ok, but i would pull alot better DB with teh motor running as i have a nice 15V
but then again i only have a pioneer checa plate sub
