what shops are stocking ma audio/visonik amps?

i think those high current amps are still class d, but saying they are high current means that they don't put out any power at 4ohms, but when you load em down they create heaps of power...
Earthquake
Import only!

These High current have 2 channels, and draw heaps of current!

But they load down to 0.5ohm!!!!

Is anyone genuinelly interested?

Beacuse I am

The MA high current one comes with a 300A ANL Fuse
NUTTTR
If you by a d2, i'll personally slap you
The MA amp looks nice as!
the High Currents are a/b IIRC.

the class X is really just class D with a new name pretty much
Bodyjar
The D2 won't put out 1000wrms @ 4ohm... only about 600...
Earthquake
Well in my setup!

~ 75Ah battery
~ 75amp Stock ALT, upgrade to 100AMP
~ 70mm^ Cabling from Batt-Cap
~ 1.0F Cap
~ 70mm^ from Cap to Amp

I quite restricted to run a hungry "High Current" Amplifier on this setup!

What are your opinions?
Mr_Bob
the VRx 1.500 makes 2kW @ 1ohm.
might be another option, i assume you're only looking for one amp to power this sub?
is this for your Treo, or something else?
Maz
If your considering $4000 amps why not buy two D2's? Run one per coil.

Thats 4000wrms and they are very efficient.

God D2's are so cheap for the power, no wonder they blo wup all the time prolly rush making them to reduce the price.
BIGW
i always though d2's were power hungry

Well yes they are power hungry at low loads but they also put out the power.. one of the most efficient amplifiers around

all prices are RRP:

actual price can be found way lower!!

I think I'm restricted to Class D & X, cause of my charging system!!!

It is to power a SSX 15" 8000wrms power handling, not advertised but proven
Earthquake
For those running big high current amplifiers, I know a few guys run the US AMPS 2000X's

how much charging mod's are required?

I'm not up for multible batteries in the boot! was thinking of a 15FARAD Bank or similar!

small, compact and does it do the job?

I've got my stock 110 amp alternator and a huge exide battery I bought off Doran but I don't know what model number it is or its rating. I've also got a 15 farad cap but its disconnected now cos I don't have the solenoid for it and it will kill my battery if its connected without the solenoid. I get a good solid 2 hours of pumping the system before there is any signs of the battery struggling. The termpro people recommend at least 2 yellow tops or equivalent and a big ass alternator but I just don't have any room in my car.
Earthquake
I'm experiencing the same problem!!

I want to run big high current amplifiers but have little room for all the electrical modifications!

They reccomend 2 Yellow Tops per Amp dont they!
