Not really... people can make estimates with enclosure specs, sub/amp/ power delivery and car type, but we can never get it within a reasonable mark. There are just way too many variables to consider...

I can normally guess it within a few dB.
Most vehilces behave in a similar manner, so if you know the gear and the install you can estimate it surprisingly accurately.

honda civic hatch
18" audiobahn aw1805 sub (1200rms)
USAmps usa400 (1200rms)
not sure on the box just yet as i'm still designing it, but probs around 4.5 cubes tuned to 47 or so Hz
wot do you think?

Having never used that sub makes it harder.
That said those Civics are awesome for SPL. We got 152 out of a sealed box with a pair of Crossfire DB 15s and a Soundstream Ref 500.
If that amp really makes 1200W and you get the box right, you shouldn't have much problem getting high 140s+

yeh the problem will be getting the box right, coz i've been told so many things, sealed this, ported that, this many cubes, that many cubes... i duno....
as for the amps power, that's wot is says in the manual so i duno if it really puts out that much??

1. Build the biggest box you can fit in the hatch and then design the ports to suit.
2. Sealed is never the answer!! Ported boxes are better for SPL AND SQ when designed properly
