hey,
im looking at the Phoenix Gold T12 Tantrum 12" Subwoofers that are in the online store on sale.

i was going to get 2 cadence UD12's but i brought some PG speakers and was very happy with them i thought i might give these ago instead.

what are these subs capable of?
i have a 91 excel hatch and i plan to have two of these in a sealed box, probably facing back and angled up slightly.

will a response 4x100 amp power them?

with this setup what do you think i could pull in a sound off?
is 145db possible or am i dreaming?

i might even go for a ported box.

any info on these subs would be appreciated.

thanks for the reply

what do you think would be louder?

1 DVC 12" running off a bridged response 4x100wrms amp (about 300wrms per coil)

or

2 SVC 12"s running of the same amp with 300wrms into each sub

if you think about it .. the 2 should be louder as MORE cone area and still the same power 600 rms ? but just wait to see what somebody eles say's .. but i say 2 PG 12's ..... let us know what you are thinking ... but trusted me .get the PG .. and if you want 2 of them just get SVC
torana
yeah thats what i was thinking.
also i wanted two as they look better in my boot then just one.
Shieldsy
with the same power the 2 will be louder... unless they have really fu*ked up the svc which i very much doubt

MAKE THE BOX PORTED please .. in a selad im sorry but you got no change of hitting 145's in a sealed box .. as runiing them in a ported box .. you could hit 145's but with some tuneing !
lethal
Ive been checking various forums on what pair of 15's, that I could get highish 140s in my vn sedan, that dont cost 1k each.

If the twelve is good, the 15 must be good also, and with two of them I should get loud.

If I power them with 500rms each will they get their.

thanks.

well as you all know my system is debuting at autosalon this weekend
with the soundoff on sunday.
Sunday night I will post up results as to what I got with my 2 15" Titaniums (sealed enclosure) running 1200wrms each
initial opinions seem to be around high 140's though, hopefully breaking 150db once the subs are run in
