Well a sad yet good day today at Dorans

She is looking good, Box in place for Max SPL which was prooved earley in the day with 127.9db from my Jaycar Pollycone 8" 7/8 gains and HU on max all into my 125wrms sub for small 1 second burps @ 67Hz

And well connected the tornado up to see how she would go....





124.4 ... Remember that tonys meter has been retuned and to compare to the other Kiama guys SPL on there tornado +6db the doran guys had retuned it to that so about 130.4db

Also shorted the sub's VC to 1ohm and blew the fuse on ma amp

looks a little like my tornado,

looks like we got some competition

we may have to invest in another Tornado and get this challenge happening.

i still have one left out of three, i will be runnin on a meter at the next QLD test and tune, 130L box tuned to 55hz all for a single 8" tornado, hehe the suface area of the port will be greater than the entire sub itself.
