I was just wondering what box to use with an L7 15" 2ohm woofer, I thought that the subs were great in ported enclosures but according to the CAA calc its better in a sealed, well for the 15" anyway. The 12 is suited to either?? anyone got experience with the 15" varieties? I was thinking of putting one in my VN commodore (where the centre of the seat pulls down)

I got 2 of em, probably need about 6 cubes and tuned nice and low for music (20-25hz) and higher for SPL (50hz).

But you will have no boot space left with a box that big.

what amp you using as these subs need a lot of power?

Well I got heaps of boot space (VN Commodore) and at present I've got an alpine MRV-1505 so a fair bit of juice will be there.

As it stands I'm getting one of the 15" SS subs that are comming in at the end of april so I might see how that goes before getting another sub but thanks for the heads up.
