OK guys, from the experience and feedback from trialing the rules in a competition environment, together with your feedback, many changes have been made to the rules.
I suggest your completely read the rules from start to finish, and make any comments in this thread.

I'm pretty happy - a few points:
- 10.0 - good to see the 120 Amp alternator ruling in Stock class
- 10.0 for modified class should be 11.0 (typo)
- 10.0 - Stock class - there is no mention of Commercial Sponsorship in Modified Class, therefore it is assumed it is allowed. Maybe a definition of Commercial Sponsorship for Stock class (I perceive there could be a fine line requiring clarification if the situation arises...)
- 11.0 - Modified Class - re: Interior improvements deemed as possible SPL increasing modifications not permitted - Is that scope referenced to the entire cabin, or just the area in front of the "B" piller? (reason, I'm considering installing expanding foam (or other material) in the rear quarter panels to reduce panel flex, metal reinforcment to reduce roof flex, etc)
- 6.2 - Typo with [CAADB} brackets (edit: typo..LOL)
- 6.8 - Audio Equipment must be commercially available off the shelf from car audio retailers. In reference to my case of possible reconing of subwoofers and the unavailability of original factory recone kits, does there have to be a clarification regarding aftermarket recones outside of original driver specifications?
That's about it for me!
In general I'm very satisfied with the latest update, and glad that the Safety Considerations section have been emphasised!

Just a quick one on rule 6.1. It doesn't include minidisc. I know it's not a popular format but there are still quite a few different minidisc headunits out there (and I have one). Should this be included or would my headunit be at the discretion of the judges at each event?

The way I see it thought, is if you blow up an SPL160, and you get it reconed to something else by total recoil(ie custom job), theres really nothing stopping me from blowing up a sub, and getting it reconned the same. So its still something available to everyone. ??

But thats like saying, well I can mod my $50 amp into a 5000wrms amp because I have the knowledge. Anyone can gain access to the knowledge, so therefore its commercially available...
I know its a bit exxagerated, but there has to be a line drawn... I think regarding re-cones, they should be done to as close to the same spec as the original...

It is also impossible to police, therefore in this case, reconing will be allowed.
Keep the bugs flowing, I'll update them all in one go
