I have decided on two JL 12W3V2 12" subs, I am building a box to the dimensions stated in the owners manual for each sub, but I don't want 2 enclosures, can I build one enclosure and put a divider in the middle therefore pretty much making 2 enclosures joined together but then the dimensions are harder to find, or can I make 2 seperate enclosures and join them together somehow.
P.S the external box size I want for each is 29"/737mmWx14"/356mmHx12.25"/311mmD
Slot port size/s(int.):1.375"/35mmWx12.5"/318Hx21.5"/546mmL(tuned to 30.3Hz)
Thanks in advance

Making one box with 2 chambers is simple. just do that.
Make the box twice the size for one sub, then just put a slice of MDF down the middle, make aure they're both the same size and your sweet.

And then just make a port for each chamber??

Yep, you can do that.
But do you really want to build a box to manufacturer's specs? it probably won't be ideal for SPL. But those are nice subs.

I thought about that and I am going to build a 4.2cuft box and put a divider in the middle.
That's the biggest my boot will allow and then put some ports like yours in. One for street and one for comps.Just over 2cubes per chamber, noit to bad
