i am deciding on where to put my port in my box. here is a rough pic drawn to scale of the room i have at the front of the box to put my port.

http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?p...73114&members=1

there are two different views, either having the port at the top right or bottom right. would there be any difference in these?

does it matter that the port will be near the corner of the box?

or should i put the port on the side of the box?

is it better on the front or side?

thanks ppl

I hate to tell you this, but the box you've built is not the best way to go in a VN.

Think about how the energy is going to get from your woofers into the car? The box is pretty well sealing of the boot from the cabin.

Rear loading is a good way to go, but you must leave enough airspace to allow the energy into the car.

In large sedans, a big, flat box with the subs firing up at the boot lid works best. The boot lid will need re-inforcement to maximise gain.

face the subs and the ports forward towards the front. open up the ski port and convert it into a 6th order bandpass
