I am installing two 12" subs in one box that will sit pretty much under my rear shelf in my boot and fit snuggly to use all available space - the question is do I face the subs towards the back of the back seat or face them towards the rest of the boot?

I have a computer drawing to illistrate but I dont have anywhere on the web to put it.

Mate depends on your car you will find that most sedans.. the subs should be firing backwards towards the boot depends if you have a sedan.. hatchs can face forwards.. all depends.. there have been previous threads..
search for rearloading etc.. Tell us what kind of car you have so we can give you a better opinion.

MattR, please don't post the same question in several different forums - it gets too confusing..

Here is the other thread anyway -

VERY SORRY ABOUT THAT.
I didnt actually realise I did it - I wrote it earlier in the day and knew I wanted to put it in something like Garage or Enclosure, but what confusing was when they both existed. Wont happen again.

Car is Sedan (VL)

I am assuming that the back of the boot is on a slight angle, as the backseats are angled as well for obvious reasons.

If this is the case, why not have the subs on the same angle and both facing and firing into the back of the seat? This way you are not going to waste any valuable space!
