Check the center of the winder for a screw. If there isn't one, get a handle removal tool

I have the removal tool. It's just that it is VERY tight between the handle & door skin. As you push the tool in it starts to wrinkle and scuff the trim.
Just want to know for sure if it is a clip before getting excited with screwdrivers and a third arm

No bro, its just a plain old simple spring clip... same as the rest of them...

Yeah getting the window winders off my car was a mission, evenm with that window winder tool. I had to destroy the gasket in between the trim and the handle, just to reach the slip. Only cost be $5 to get a new one, so if your car has something along the lines of that, i hope it helps

Try use a rag or something instead of the tool. Slide it under the handle then just move it side to side. This way you can't scratch anything.
