I recently discovered an italian brand of speakers known as AD (Audio Development).

Just as a matter of interest i was wondering if anyone had any experience with these speakers and what your oppinions are on these speakers, such as how they compare in terms of SQ compared to other comparative speakers.

I could be mistaken, but I remember seeing a brand from Italy named this or very similar, and they were marketed as high end but in actual fact were equivalent of our Roadsound category brands.

I had a look at them the other week at a local car audio shop. They had some very "high end" prices.

I had a look at one model that had lots of chrome and a lot of "bling -bling" value. I haven't heard them yet but will check them out soon.

They also had a brand of amps called "Steg".

And both are Italian .

Saw both AD and Steg as CES, on the same stand actually. The steg stuff looks OK but the AD was a bit shiny for me, but it is not a cheap product price wise. I have brochures and a price list somewhere on my desk but they are a few layers down and not easy to find!
