Has anyone had any experience with Alpine DLX-F176's - I'm pricing a new system at the moment and they come with a $300 discount if bought with a CDA-9815. This effectively makes them cheaper than the SPX-177A's which have received some favourable comments on this forum.

cheers

Put a set in a new Landcruiser Trayback the other day with a lanzar max 10 ported. Both running off an Alpine MRV-F340. They gave me a good image while still maintaining crispness and good midbass. I feel that They are an excellent buy with the 9815.

nit sharp for me, a bit brighter for my personal taste, but they are very good speakers, you'll be happy with wither
