Hi all,

Has anyone used or heard the Seas excell speakers before? I have no idea how good they are. The construction looks quite high, but I have never really heard of their reputation.

I have been planning to get Morel Supremos and HCW8s, so can anyone give me an idea as to how the Seas speakers would compare to the Morels for top level SQ.

Thanks, Dan.

I have the SEAS as my home speakers.

A very smooth but still detailed sound.
Compared to the Morels?
not a lot in it the SEAS may have a little more detail but theres not a lot in it really.

Thanks for the replies guys. So basically the Seas are a top rate brand??? I do not want to make the mistake of trying to be different to the detriment of sound quality, but they definitely look unique, and the combination of titanium dome midbass with copper phase plugs and fabric dome tweets for a smooth refined upper frequency sound suggest quality sound.

Thanks, Dan.

the seas excell speakers are primarly designed for home audio, some ppl have used them in cars and had very good results in SQ comps

there Lotus range of splits are designed for car audio and have one of the sexyest tweeters i have seen biggrin.gif
and damn flat responce curve

try John Woodhead at www.acousticconcepts.com.au
he is the Importer of them and can put you in contact of a good reseller.
