The dome on my Dynaudio mid got a little out of shape in transit. It massaged roughly back to shape but it's a bit soft in places.
Will recoating stiffen it back up and help it to hold its shape?
If so who does this sort of repair?
I suppose you would do the pair to keep them the same.
Can anyone help?

you probably won't need to. i'd try them out and see if you can hear a difference between the two. if you can, i'd be amazed, and it might be psychological!
unless the dome is badly dinted/torn, then i think it will be fine. and the 'listening' test will confirm it.
if you were really keen to have it done, contact dyn distributor 'hutch' (CAA Member) and seek his advice. he could recommend a repairer for you.

Thanks Shiny Yeah I gave them a run. Thought the damaged one sounded a little rougher when pushed. But as I was the one doing the switching it may be imagination.
I'd like to look into it anyway even if its just to be sure it doesn't deteriorate further.
