hey guys, i am looking at what sub id like to get for my full type S alpine SQ system and i was thinking alpine stype subs with 350rms alpine amp but i am wondering if these can really deliver thumping bass too. I want SQ most of the time but somtimes im in the mood for serious bass, can alpine deliver this or am i better looking elsewhere to fusion powerplant etc

While Alpine subs and amps aren't the best of the best , I'd say stick to the Alipe gear you have if you're happy with it, IMO Fusion would be a step down.

we have a winner

i went from 4 12" type r's to two Boston 10s and they Bostons crap over the Alpines in SQ and arent far off SPL either (obviously install helps)
