Hi Guys, i am currently running Infinity Reference front splits and some crappy rear fill (who cares about the passengers!!!)
Anyway, its time to upgrade my speakers and I will probably relocate my Reference to the back parcel shelf and put new splits in the front.

I have been looking at Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.5" for the sake of brand matching.
Does anybody have an idea about the capabilities/drawbacks of these splits?
As i will be running the tweets in standard factory spots in the interest of keeping a stock look how will my depth and imaging sound?
I noticed that the Perfects use an aluminium tweet as opposed to the silk dome's in my reference splits.

Amping is not an issue as I am running a sweet sounding Denon amp.

On a side note any suggestions where i can find beefier amplifiers?
Thanks
commodoreboy
i have heard some good things about the infinity kappa's but i haven't heard them personally.

also how much would you be willing to spend on the amp?

Amp won't be changed just the splits.
The Denon is a 6 chan - 4 reg chan and 2 for a sub.
Plan is to run the Denon for the Fronts and rears then the Rockford for the Alpine subs.

Looking around the 1000 ->1200 mark for the splits

That budget gives you a lot of options!

Rainbow Profi /Profi Vanadium /Power are all under $1200
Dynaudio
Boston
Focal

Nothing wrong with the Infinity, but there a lot of newer things around that may just be something that you like.

Have fun smile.gif

Bye,
