Full Version: How to surface mount Dyn MD100 tweeter?

wells..im just not happy with the imaging im getting with the tweeters in the stock position (97 prelude..with stock tweeter locations up high in the door)

so i'm gonna try just mount them somewhere in the kicks..without actually making any pods or anything. kinda like what shiny_car did when he had his old md100's?

so im wondering how to mount them down there? because i believe the md100's dont actually come with any surface mounting abilities?

maybe shiny_car if you could let me know how you did it with your car? smile.gif thanks

drill holes or buy another set of kicks and drill them so you keep yours untouched

thats a good idea actually..i never thought about getting another kick but i did think about whether it was possible to just flush it in the plastic kick panel

does honda sell kick panels as spare parts?
