hehehe as it says, i need some decent advise.

atm, i have a fusion F-12 Sub(I thnk 250rms from memory)and the Type R splits. They running off sony XM754SX amp (2*75, 1*200 bridged again from memory) (and hey it was my first purchase!!!). My prob is dat splits dominate the sub(under-powered, i hear someone saying) esp at low volumes (how i play music most times!!!). Sound seems to frontish and tweeters bit "harsh". I have my own "theories" :tony: into this, but wana hear what you pros think. And no there's no deadening(in my to do list, sum1 in melb show me!!!!). So ppl solution time:

Well, if the tweeters sound harsh it is the tweeters that need to be antenuated.

The amp will just amplify what you put into it so if you have a look at any of the EQ settings you have this might explain it.

Personally, I have never heard a set of Alpine speakers that i have liked the sound of, they all sound harsh and tinney to me.

I don't mean to be rude, but if you dont like how they sound why did you buy them in the first place?
