anyone use CDT HD-1220 sub? how is it? I'm running SQL system and I'm looking for sub that play loud and reasonably good in SQ

I'll be feeding the sub with 450W from ARC audio

Judging by the review this tosser gave it, it'll be orgasmic (courtesy CDT website):

"Gentlemen,

I have theEuroSport ES-643 speakers in my car and I swear I take the long way home so I can listen to them longer. I want to tell you today how impressed I am with your Model HD-1220 12² Extreme Excursion Subwoofer. I have been involved with audio since a child and have listened to the finest systems made by man. But the sound that is heard from a single HD-1220 in a solid sealed box is beyond my wildest dreams. They hit like a cannon yet they softly fill the air waves with a sound so crisp and clean it almost brings you to tears to listen to them. They range from the lowest low to the highest high you have heard from a sub and it is unbelievable. It is not only a musical experience but an emotional one, one that literally brings goose bumps to your arms and takes you to another world. I know it sounds like a fairytale but when you hear them and have the experience too, you will be a CDT Audiophile fan for life!

Bravo!

lol, what a splendid faggot...anyway, from what I've heard, CDT is renowned for audiophile grade equipment: BUT need a lot of power to be efficient...
I'd look at giving the sub the full 600W r.m.s or more (since it can supposedly take 1200W max)

From what I have heard about these things, should be a pretty good thing.

They need 50 litres or so to "do the biz" tho' IMO for best SQ.
35 litres will be a bit peakier but louder.

450 watts should work pretty well with it.
I say go for it!
