Hey there guys, im just wondering if the PG Ti1000.2 which is 1000wrms x 1 @ 4 ohm, would be suitable for running a JL 13w7?? The sub is a dual 1.5 ohm so i was thinking of running it at 3 ohm, which is greater than the minimum bridged ohm according to the amps specs (which is 2 ohms). Would just like to clarify i wont be doing any damage or doing anything wrong.

have you already bought the amp? Just be careful that the ti 1000.2 is a class ab amp, that won't be as efficient as a true class D amp.

Bridging into 3 ohms shouldn't be a problem if the maximum impedance you can bridge to is 2 ohm

isnt the titanium line discontinued?

in what respect??

if you have a look at decent mono-blocks, they have equally as high SNR's compared to a 2 channel amps as well as having better lower octave frequency responses

btw efficiency IS sq. You are obviously going to get more solid bass if the monoblock is capable of producing short bursts of bass from minimal current, as opposed to bridged 2-channels which often require a capacitor to perform on the same level
