i know this is a common prob, but im getting that whistle through my speakers, the one that changes pitch on revs (sounds like ive got a phatt blower). CCA in bris recently did my install with a new HU and amp. only started then. aparently is the ground or earth or something? how do i check/fix this, and is it damaging my equipment in any way?

cheers

it won't damage your equipment in any way, no.

but it will annoy the f*** out of you.

if it was a shop who did your install, take it back and demand they get rid of the noise cos as far as i'm concerned, any "pro" should know how to install a quiet system and if they can't, i'd turn on my heel and find someone who knows what they're doing. its just not acceptable.

whilst it sometimess annoys me when people ask questions that come up time after time.. I DID SEARCH, i didnt find wat i was looking for, as u may know, forum searches can sometimes be like this. so. i dont mean to come across rude, but its a forum, people post questions, its not merley a search through FAQ's all the time

btw thank you for directing me to the thread, much appreciated
