Boston Pro 6.53 3 way splits.
Soundstream Renoir 2 x 50w amp.
Am I going to run out of puff here? Mummy said I shouldn't read that other topic, or I'd have nightmares!

Your amp may only be 2 x 50 but not only is it most likely very underrated, it is some of the cleanest power you can find so I am sure they sound amazing off that.
I have 330 per side cause they are Bassy K's old 3 way Total Recoils, he had the suspension stiffened so I figure I will give them plenty of power and get them moving!!!!!

How about I really scare you and tell you that I will be using over 30kw to power the woofers!
In the same car as the >1500wrms front stage.

You'll be FINE!
1. Very underrated front stage amp
2. Very clean and clear f/s amp
3. It won't go SUPER DUPER loud, but it will go loud
4. Generally the Bostons are fairly sensitive and need minimal power to crank...
That said, 500x2 is always helpful for some headroom!
We run 2x70 in the fiancee's car and it's fine, goes quite loud and a lot more than it needs TBH... However, i DO run quite a bit, and it does go very loud, beyond what you usually need to use it!

Icant say i know the amp so i cant comment, but i found that 125rms per side on my 3 way front stage was not enough so i hape it produces 3 or 4 times its rated power.

Hey HISPL, your trouble won't so much be fitting 31.5kW worth of amplifiers, but fitting around 50kW worth of charging system! And 4000-amps worth of fuses!

I work in the Power Industry i might be about to help with a hook up point for all that power.
I can arrange access to Loy Yang, it provides 2200megga watts (around 40% of Victoria's Energy) so that would be a good starting point.

Why? as if that much power will ever go into them.

Soundstream Renoir 2 x 50w amp
wow i love that amp. its an old school classic
pitty that its sooo hard to find them. It would be ideal to run dual renoirs to the front staged bridged (thats what i always wanted to do..but could never find a renoir only the picasso 4 channels)

I think you missed Damon's point....
Back on topic though, ok 50w isn't exactly going to cause blood to come out of your ears, but that isn't really what SQ is about is it?

Nice idea!
I was under the impression that the Renoir was just an internally bridged Picasso?

Nice choice of splits!
Personally i dont see a problem with a 2x50wrms amp, it will no doubt go very loud for general listening. Unless you want to blow people away with volume i wouldn't worry about it.
The bostons are also very sensitive too so they will go loud.
