To my knowledge there isn't a Brissie dealer... but the Australian distributor is Sonic Nirvana, and you can contact them through

Advance AE (
http://www.advanceae.com.au/catalog/) advertise them on their website, but I am not sure what the availibility of this item is in Oz as the original shipment was sold out (all the 12's anyways)
That being said the next shipment was supposed to be around Feb sometime anyways so drop Sonic Nirvana a line and see

if i was choosing between an XXX and IDMAX again id probably go the XXX
i still havent heard one though..
and IDMAX are good, the best ive ever heard myself but thats compared to like kicker L7s and pioneer stuff not really made for good sound quality

you can't buy a NEW IDMAX for $500, as they cost the stores far more than that.
if it's 2nd hand, the it's not a fair comparison.
fhrx studios sell RE stuff, and can ship to you.
IMO the XXX is better than an IDMAX, but that's my opinion. talk to Marty @ Fhrx, he's used both.

In all honesty it would be much better to test them both out for yourself before you buy. What other people like might not be what you like.

You might just want to re-word that post a little champ. We certainly don't sell the IDMAX12 for $500.

Northfield Moorooka stock the IDMAX (I'm sure they are the only Northfield store that do), but not the XXX...

For my next upgrade i cant decide which one will suit me more. What kind of power should you be feeding the RE XXX 12's incomparison to the IDMAX's. As i have not heard much about the RE's except they are unbelievable and when i heard the ID's i was extremely impressed. What sort of amps do you recommend to power it?
Sonic Nirvana

XXX12s are back in stock and Marty (FHRX) will be able to supply one.
As for Brisbane dealers, we're working on that one, but not yet......

Yeh it sucks
I'm from Brisvegas too and we don't get diddly-squat I swear. In North Brisbane the only option you have for any sort of high end car audio is Northfield in Nundah (the Sandgate Rd one). Keep in mind 1/2 of the employees are complete idiots and half are awesome. They did the Blade car if you remember that one. Anyway, maybe one day...

Hey nickos86,
You need to take a trip over to Northfield Moorooka. More high end car audio then you can poke a stick at, and staff who know what they are talking about.
