Hey guys,
I have got myself a tr700/2 for the front stage.
For my sub I was originally thinking of the tr1600/2, 1600 rms at 4 ohms, however, i noticed it was 10 inches longer in size than the 700/2.
Not only does this pose a space issue, it will look a little odd, being nearly double the size.
The tr880/2 however is exactly the same size at the 700/2 but only puts out 800 rms at 4 ohms.
My question is, will 880 rms be enought for my re 15" sx?
Also, does anyone know how underrated they are, whether it would push up to 1000 rms or not?

well as a guide the TR1600/2 has +/-60V rails @ 12V which is a theoretical 2x 450WRMS - so about 12.5% under-rated whether this extends to the 880 I dunno - when I get around to puting all my stuff back in I might measure and find out... (when/if same thing

)
you won't notice the difference audibly between 880W and 1000W anyway...

i got the 12" sx, i'm pushing 1000wmrs on paper, but apprantly my amp barely makes 850wrms.
however i think u'll find its loud enuff for daily driving. it should be fine, although a lil louder would be good, but i think i alrdy turned it up that the amp started clipping :/
have fun with the sx mate
