Well just to reiterate what was mostly said during presentation... what a great day and an awesome way to kick off the VIC season for 2005.

Very well supported event being the first one of the year, some new faces with VERY promising potential. All classes filled and some close competition.

The new format was very successful and very well supported.

Thanks very much to the competitors who showed up today and whilst we know it is a long day most were socialising, enjoying each others company and munching on snags.

A HUGE thanks must go to Hektik for their support of CAA and CAASQ, and all I can say about their effort with the trophies is WOW! :thumb: I noticed they were very well liked

Also thankyou to Bruce and Nick for their judging efforts, well done guys. But bruce... less smoko's Haha.

REALLY looking forward to the next event, and this season promises to be the best yet for CAASQ. Heaps of photos were taken today and they will be in the gallery later on tonight.

welllll i'm stoked, and that about sums me up was a pretty good day, i mean its pretty stretched out getting there before 10 and rolling up the car at 5, but hey its worth it in the end

yes, i had a great day too. indeed it was long - but expected and not a problem - being first-judged then being there all day (catching up on sleep!).

i was stoked to take out 1st place, making the new installation well worthwhile. given it wasn't completed or tuned, i'm particularly excited about some significant future improvements in the scoring and sound.

there was some strong competition and obviously some very nice cars there. good turn-out for spectators too. everyone was having fun, so i enjoyed catching up with people and meeting new ones.

special thanks to the [CAASQ] team, the Hektik crew - top commitment to have us all there and all the catering/trophies - and tiger for BBQ-chef.

congrats to all competitors and place-getters. i look forward to the rest of the season.

was good day but i had to leave early cause hung over me left my mobile at a mates joint so i was only there for an hour or so.
i dont think ill be competeing. im almost positive that sony splits wont cut it with all the wicked installs all you guys got out there.
PS. i loved the exhaust note on the HUMMER. gonna have to save up a bit of cash

great event, nice weather, great venue (though the hektik guys will prob not want us back again, scaring away all the customers)...thoroughly enjoyed it
