As Eclipse CAASQ will be taking a break from the Autosalon show series for the first couple of rounds of 2005 it opens up the calendar for a couple more events.
Would there be any interest in an event on May 8th (Weekend after Melbourne Autosalon). Looking for a suitable Melbourne venue if anyone can suggest anything.
Please post up your interest ASAP as if we can get 10 or so competitors then we will go forward with this event.

Its not that far a drive from Melbourne for those driving up and back for the day, and the possibility is also there for those wanting to stay in a Motel and have a social night out (Dinner/Drinks) the night before.

I could be up for that, if I get off my a55 and finish the install
16days to go.....
i am interstate for work that weekend, so it would make it very difficult for me to have the car there. 
also bear in mind that some potential competitors will have their cars on display at MAS for the WHOLE weekend, so would not be able to attend any comp outside of it.
i would personally prefer a comp the following weekend when i am in town.
...not sure if someone like Central would wish to bring their comp forward to then, which would give you more time to find a location for the end of May.

MY mistake on date. It was meant to be the weekend after MAS, which I have now corrected. May 8th is the proposed date.

bit far for me coming from melton...and old man's 50th night before, but i wont rule it out...
Change of plans once more. Going to try and find a Melbourne location and save the Traralgon event for later in the year. Anyone have any suggestions for a venue ?
