Ok guys im looking to upgrade and get 2 type R subs in my car - here's my prob though, i have one current model one and ive been told that the new model is coming out in june. Will this have any effect in terms of phase cancellation, sq, i dunno anything else?

i guess it could mean i could pick up the current version now for cheaper once its released smile.gif

i'd probably go with the second option of buying a superseeded model or even a second hand model. I don't expect any massive improvement from one model of Type Rs to the slightly newer ones, and this owuld work out much cheaper

Its doubtful the 2 models will share anything in common except maybe power handling. The specs may not change much but you want 2 matched subs. Just slight changes in spoecs could alter performance audibly and so using differnet subs is never a good idea IMO. Id either sell yours and get new model or as suggested get another of same as you have
