Wow, awesome list there...
Have you checked out Adires new Extremis 6.1 or something, they're supposed to be awesome too...
Out of that list, personally it'd be a tough choice between the mw170's and the scan speaks.
All top drivers, just have a listen to as many as you can and decide which you like best.

Best midbass i've personally heard is the Arvus QCA-6, absolutely sensational, but a bit hard to get in Aus... The definition is just out of this world... they're one of those products 'you never heard about' that noone who's ever listened to them thinks they are anything but mind blowing...
35Hz-3kHz +/-3dB, 90dB 1w/1m sens, 300wRMS handling...
Heres some pics... they arent the prettiest things because they are handmade to spec, but the sound is just yummy

ETON woofers are pretty fantastic in the upper range (of price that is, not frequency) from what I've heard...

as a user of phass alnico, i would say, that alnico mid bass is great, definetly better than the dyn for sure, cos i use the mw 160 before, so i know the difference, the alnico sound is very warm but powerfull.
