Can someone tell me if there is any difference between the exterior of an audison EX.2 amp as against an audison SC

I have a vrx4.300.ex.2 and am looking into getting a vrx1.500 amp. I would like the 1.500 to match my 4.300 so if the SC version is exactly the same as an EX.2 amp "externally" then i would opt for it as it is cheaper than an EX.2 amp.

note that i wont be using any modules whatsoever so the SC would be the better choice for me IF its exterior matches the EX.2 exactly.

oh another question, in fhrxstudios, it states that the EX.2 comes with crossover and all modules. does this mean that the vrx1.500.ex.2 comes with the VCRDK / VCRAK / ACB1 as well?

no, there is a slight difference. the 'audison' logo that is lit and inset in the wooden panel has slightly squarer corners and is white writing on silver as opposed to white on pale blue.

i doubt the EX.2 will have some of those options as they are accessories rather than tuning modules. but you should either ring FHRX or contact phil kent, the distributor of audison: rmaudio@rmaudio.com.au

the VRX EX.2 which i have has the audison logo on a gold background. By the way, i have also talked to someone that said the CS model doesnt have the wood finish in its panel but rather uses aluminum. can someone confirm this. thanks.

yes, i was referring to the .1 and .2 shadow chrome models. they are all slightly difference: .1 SC vs .2 SC vs blue .2.

so the .2 SC (EX) have white on gold? ah ok, i've only seen pics. regardless, the .1 SC is different. not sure if you could purchase separately a .2 EX central trimpiece; wouldn't be cheap though

1.500 CS model will have HL24, BTX2 and ABS450 only. chrome shadow with aluminum strip.

1.500 EX.2 model will have HL24, PC36, SM24, PRM3, DSC1 and ABS450. chrome shadow with wooden strip.
