Hi,

I tried searching, but the engine wont let me. I'm looking to see if anyone has heard of MA Audio. I have a few amps and a set of splits coming over from USA in the next few weeks.

Has anyone had any experience with these? or does anyone know if they are actually sold here.

Thanks.

i don't think they're sold here, and i have no experience with them. but without you being specific, it's probably like asking whether phoenix gold is good or not: they have 3 levels of gear from entry-level up to premium, so depends what models you're referring to.

i suppose their relative price would be somewhat indicative. if they're on par in cost with other brands sold in the US then that's probably what they're quality is like. so if they're similar prices to PG xenon series, they're probably like those: very good.

generally, i don't recommend buying 'blind', but not sure whether you've used them or auditioned them before.

Yeah sorry about that. The splits are $199US and that's about the price of a set of S-type Alpines. They are the Y30C6 on the linked page below.

These speakers are supposed to handle 150wrms, and a pretty big frequency response,so this is what sort of attracted me. I know specs aren't much to go by, but the actual driver looks pretty big and solid, and it was the convenience of having someone go to USA that made me jump at them.

I'm also getting two 2-channel amps supposedly good for 150wrms @ 4ohms and 440wrms Bridged. These will run both front stage and a single sub. For now. These are the M589i -
