yeah, had a great day, obviously helped by my trophy successes.
i too wish to thank Freeway/Marcel for hosting the event (incl BBQ and trophies), Eclipse for their sponsorship and goodies, other supporters and the fellow competitors.
the competition is sooo friendly, it's fantastic to see - and how it should always be - particularly amongst my fellow Class competitors. it was also great to meet some new competitors and i enjoyed demo-ing my car to those keen to have a listen, and i gained insight into other peoples cars and installation techniques.
some schmick systems/cars there, including the 3 demo vehicles - eclipse, alpine, RF.
thanks again to the judges, bruce and nick, for their tireless 'work' throughout the whole day, to marc, and last but not least, john, as the head chef! :thumb:
pity 'blankie' didn't make it in time for judging as i thought the 'imaging' in his car was superb and puts virtually all (incl mine) to shame, for what is really a very simple setup. just goes to show, keeping it simple can work trumps.
and 'nemesis': don't be disheartened. some careful tuning of the EQ/gains should bring your system way up to speed. we can catch up for a test and tune.
