Hi need some advice my Audio system f2-190 amp has died well i think it has its in protect mode and other than taking it apart i cant find anything wrong. So anyway ive been looking at replacments ive looked at DLS, Focal, Alpine, Treo and soundstream and ive taken a liking to the focal's specs size power and price i was looking at the FP2.150 2x150wrms to run my rainbow splits and the FP1.800 1x800wrms @ 1 ohm to run my idmax10 when i get it.
What i would really like to know is how well built the Focal amp's are the sound quality and if it will drive the idmax well.

Thanks for you help any other options will be taken on board.

Cheers James

focal amps are tops.

ive heard them running focal Be splits, and a kx sub, and they are fantastical
Surefire
Focal amps are very good. They are a very clean, natural sounding amp and are fantastic value for money after recently having a price drop. Also very well built. Hard to go past IMO.

Well after spending all day trying to find a fault with the current audio system amp i have concluded it has to be an internal failure so will have to go see a mate at Tonkins see what deal he can give me on the focal amp's .
