Hi guys,

I have a pair of Focal Polyglass 165V1's for my frontstage. Unfortunately, my tweeters were stolen and so I replaced the old ones (TNA) with the TN52's from the K2 Power range.

Now the question is this. I was running them off a fairly cheap 50w RMS 4 channel amp and the tweeters seemed overpowered for the mids (running off same cross-over on -3dba).

Will a better amp (say 100w RMS) make a difference? At the moment I am worried that the tweets and mids will not work nicely together even if I replace the amp.

it could but id say you would need the better flexibility of the k2p x-overs as they go down to -7db , and yes more power is more control
