If its 2008 season, shouldnt we count Brisbane Autosalon as it was first of the 2008 comps?
fuzzy

Cheers

P.S.
I think you may need to add a new colour for W.A. , Purple perhaps ?
Jnr

MEAT_AXE

IH8SQ
Hey Billy could you please add :
Street A
1st 147.4dB --- Dave Maier ( IH8SQ ) --- W.A.

Was at the JB hifi competion on Sat 24th November on termlab ofcorse.
I dont know if it counts as it wasnt db drag but it is all db drag legal.

Cheers,
Dave
Billy 79
ah has to be from a sanctioned event sorry dave. cause i update the scores according to termpro.

and soon as termpro is up again Fuzzy i will update ya score to the right class, as cant access it at the moment and find out all the latest scores from all the events due to it being down in the results area from the hack the site suffered recently.

cheers
MEAT_AXE
Man that sux we only get 2 sanctioned events in WA and one of them we can't enter unless we have a comodore or a falcon
Billy 79
why can only commodores or a falcons enter. thats not a sanctioned event if they are doing that. sanctioned events all cars are accepted if someone is doing that at a sanctioned event saying only commodores or falcons can enter, they are telling you lies and breaking the rules.

also JBhiFi has this summer series why dont they pay the retail membership to dbdragracing which is only a couple hundred bucks and they can hold sanctioned events upto 6 a year. all they need is someone that angelo and wayne would approve to run the events over there for yas thats all.
MEAT_AXE
its a 2 day car show for bogans called motorvation
SPL cars almost allways get knocked back for entry because its a show for bogan deam cars hence commodores and falcons are the only cars generaly to get entry
I will pass on the info about the dbdrag membership tho to the ppl running the JB-HIFI series tho it would be great to see a few WA cars on the first post as the sport is growing quite rapidly over here

Cheers

Man that sux we only get 2 sanctioned events in WA and one of them we can't enter unless we have a comodore or a falcon

thats only 2 more sanctioned events than NT
Billy 79
thats the best bet guys. im sure pighama or someone over there thats been running in dbdrag for ages and help run the events for JB hifi. if JBhifi were to be interested im sure angelo and that wouldnt have prob giving them authority to run events through their store.
that way yas will have more sanctioned events.

plus in the end its about getting numbers up competing in dbdrag events through out australia then to.
and more sanctioned events in areas where very little are held

but yeah have a chat to JB hiFi get them to contact angelo have a chat about it and get someone thats been involved in dbdragracing that would be interested in running events for yas and i reckon yas wont have a problem with the store getting approved for retail membership. plus then yas can hold upto 6 sanctioned events a year then at that store.

cheers guys
mr_sikma
any proper events held here in sa?
Billy 79
thinking of turning this thread into a RECORD THREAD with seasonal history.

Termpro resets their records every year. and was thinking why dont we do this also. but yeah if i do i will have to re edit the top scores in each class to their official records.

basically just a thought and to get guys imput if ya want to see us doing as termpro does and reset the Aus records each year let me know and if enough people agree then will change it to 2008 Records with seasonal History.

let us know your imput. please be constructive though

cheers billy
Louie
I wouldn't think resetting the scores each year would be a good thing, because then it becomes difficult to gauge any improvements each year, or even just try and build on other peoples scores.

Why not create something like a table that has the scores (top 3 or 5) for each class in a year.

ie
2005 2006 2007
STa scores
STb
STc

In this way people will be able to compare the top scores and see how the results have gone each year. Just my thoughts, gives those looking in and not competing a bit more of an overall view on how each year and class is going.
hsvmonarogen3
louie is onto something. excel spreadsheet. too easy. do it
Billy 79
i will do the records for the 2008 season. and the 2007 season and 2006 season but the 2007 and 2006 maybe off a little as some of the scores may be PB's

but for the 2008 season they will be the official records and not official PB's of record holders.

but yeah if everyone is interested i dont mind doing this for everyone and everyone can see how things go from year to year and what has been done over the years.
Billy 79
2006 and 2007 and current 2008 records thus far have been added to the first post.

the 3 seasons records are as a PDF doccument and have been done according to TERMPROS results.

the current season records are displayed until the season ends in 2008 then the records will reset again again added to the PDF duccument and new records will start to be set again.

cheers billy
GM-KILA
what class would my car fit in? it's a sedan two 12's runnin off a single 2500rms mono block
RAD82
Street B, assuming you've got the one battery in the stock location, no 2F caps.
pigphama
I can say now that the Piglet is alive and almost back to full performance levels. We did a 157.9Db in Extreme 1 at Motorvation 08 last weekend. It cost me a long serving 9515 but that is going to be reconed in the next few weeks. We had very little tuning time, (basically Sat. morning) ran Saturday lunch time, sub fried by 2:00p.m., not a bad day I thought.

Was a good weekend and glad to have my extreme car back running once again and looking to have the Piglet fully operational and going for a national record at AutoSalon08 in Perth, (I know, I can dream a lot!).

Cheers,
pigphama
Billy 79
ah nice pigphama. ah nothing wrong with dreaming, but i would call it a goal for ya set it as a goal and i reckon ya will achieve that record.
Narchi
sorry re read first post

Billy 79
all records will be reset in a couple days no records due to new rules now in affect in dbdrags so all classes records will be up for grabs again

CAN ANYONE SAY THE LOUD STATE. lol

Which State? laugh.gif
Cleutin
5 australian records all in QLD biggrin.gif
Billy 79
LMAO at gluetin.

c'mon dude 3 records i wouldnt be counting street stock classes dude
gsaqua
Street stock are a world finals class so they should count
Billy 79
true it is a world finals class only for the USA but yeah it is counted to the world records so ok we'll count it.

sorry my mistake also i forgot a fellow NSW guys street stock A score wink.gif link is below to his braket details
http://www.termpro.com/asp/displaybracket...._Class_ID=53434

so now the tally is
4 records for QLD.
4 records for NSW
1 record for VIC

SS1-2 undecided yet. QLD no doubt
SS3-4 undecided yet. NSW no doubt

i would say based on the current standing and the amount of competitors in the list its half and half between NSW and QLD.

with i think their is 2 heavy hitting cars yet to come out from QLD. and about 4 heavy hitting cars from NSW yet to come out.

so lets see how it turns out towards the end of the season how many NSW cars hold records and how many QLD cars do..

DBDRAGRACING STATE OF ORIGIN SERIES wink.gif

EX ditto but AAS.

Phil
Billy 79
Gluetin Team Boomz going to have their car Super Street 5+ legal in two weeks????????

if they do make it super street legal bye bye 160 numbers i reckon,,,,,, thats a tough choice. drop below 160 and try take the SS5+ record. or run extreme still and do the 160+ numbers it does now.

Cleutin
Billy... its spelt CLEUTIN not GLUETIN lol

im 99% sure it will be ready for GCAS and still be over the 160db mark.

there is also another car in the works for SS5+ if we decide to keep the Austen in Extreme

Doesn't it just need carpet?

I really can't see it loosing much by adding carpet!
