As for their build quality, show me an amp that is built better, for anywhere near the same price (I challenge thee). IMO, there isnt anything remotely close that I've yet laid eyes (or ears) on. Their layout, build and components are absolutely to die for. Smart amps too. And reputably a very very powerful amps (described as "balls, balls, balls"),
Brax would have to be up there. At $2,799 rrp for 4x100 watts, the ARC 4200SE is very close in pricing and output to an X2400.2 (standard, not Graphic Edition). Mine was second hand when i got it, so it already had a few years of use in it - still after having it for almost a year it's one bloody brilliant device! That said, it's lack of availability could be a problem (not sure of the Genesis are available here or not).

That said, my ARC 2100-XXK is still going strong itself. After the 3 years of so that I've had the Laser, it's the only component that's been there since day one. I've been looking to replace it soon, but it would admittedly be a difficult thing to let go. It's not on par with the Brax in terms of build quality etc, but then considering the price difference you really wouldn't expect it to be - still it's a bloody good little amplifier that has easilly stood the test of time.
With the SE series being aimed one level above the XXK range (previous flagship) I can only imagine they must be very good. They have clearly got some balls behind them power wise (ARC amps always seem to exceed their claims), good crossovers and look brilliant.
Not very up to date on the Genesis, but I'm quite fond of ARC Audio right now. Also if availability isn't an issiue, I'd chuck Brax and Sinfoni into the mix also - not sure if you are itnerested in those though.
