currently running an old JL 12W3 in freeair through a rockford fosgate punch series 450w amp ....

the JL isnt meant for freeair but it works supprisingly well... but im after something that will sound a little tighter in freeair... ie a sub designed for freeair laugh.gif

open to any brand/budget .... highend stuff.... if it exists wacko.gif

what is your budget? and search is your friend as well.

There have a been a few recent threads about free-air/ infinite baffle as well.

Do you mean free air, or infinite baffle, because there is a large difference between the two.

IMO, no sub should be played free air in a car.
